Barefoot trimmer and certified Equine Hoof Care Professional, Jennifer Roberts, graduated from the International Center for Equine Arts. She takes a gentle, knowledgeable and holistic* approach to hoof care in order to effectively treat pathologies in the foot. Along with performing a basic trim to maintain your horse’s healthy feet, she has been trained extensively to rehabilitate horses with unhealthy conditions i.e.. founder, navicular, hoof cracks. Emphasis is placed on client education and providing an environment for the horse to optimize physiological and psychological health.

Jennifer provides hoof care in Oak Harbor and the rest of Whidbey Island, Skagit County, and Northern Snohomish County.

“Holistic is a very broad term that simply means looking at the whole picture. In medicine, it describes the way a case is approached, not the actual treatment. . . The holistic approach to horse care means always asking: 1. Why an illness has occurred .2 What the body is attempting to achieve with its response, 3. How the body can best be supported.” Madalyn Ward, DVM
